The number of liquidations in the first quarter of 2010 has fallen by 17.8 per cent, compared to the same period in 2009.
This marks an 8.4 per cent decrease in the number of liquidations compared to the last quarter of 2009.
Of the 4,082 liquidations in the first quarter, 1,314 were compulsory liquidations (down 14.8% on the corresponding quarter of the previous year), and 2,768 were creditors voluntary liquidations (down 19.1% on the corresponding quarter of the previous year).
